I don't remember which episode this was but I can't figure out why Walter Koenig made this gesture because it had nothing to do with what was happening in the scene and I don't know if he realized what he was doing when he did it

I don't have time to watch ALL of B5, as I'm currently watching the essential Star Trek episodes and movies from the whole franchise. So, could someone send me a list of essential B5 episodes?

What's your thoughts on this film?
Along with Tubi, Babylon 5 is also now on Roku Channel. Meanwhile, I accidentally discovered that Lost Tales are on the free streaming service "Fawesome."
Once I figure out how to add stuff to the News, I'll do that, but until then, if someone can verify and do it...
From 1993 to 1998, Babylon 5 was and still is just as popular as Star Trek. However, the series may have a strong connection to the ever so popular to this day, Star Trek franchise.
Can you imagine any Star Trek connections to Babylon 5 like Star Trek alums appearing on the show or something.
On this episode Elisa was never given the option to consider the Centauri homeworld as a place to live. Why is this? Was this option just overlooked?
I'm new-ish to editing Fandom wikis, so I'll bring this up here: should someone update the 'Latest News' about the availability of B5 on Tubi (in the USA, at least.)
I know that Jeffrey Sinclair, John Sheridan, Elizabeth Lochley served as commanding officer and Susan Ivanova served as executive officer but who was next in the chain of command on babylon 5 after that?
I love the idea of doing something with B5. I have it on DVD and recently bought it again through Amazon Prime because I re-watch it quite a lot.
Londo Mollari is my favorite character (I have his action figure - unsigned :sad face:), but if I had to choose a race to play it would be the Minbari. The Centauri men are so much fun to watch, but the women have such a cloistered and limited existence it doesn't seem that fun. At least in the Minbar temple, I'd have had an entire year to laugh!
Concerns about the reboot include the following: we already know who John Sheridan is; he doesn't exist on B5 without Delenn and we already know who she is, and what their story is; it can't be done without the conflict between the Centauri and the Narn (substituting other races in the same conflict is a bad copy) and they introduce the Shadows as a part of their relationship, and we already know who they are (realistically, Mollari and G'Kar represent the best juxtaposition between the two races we could have hoped for); the story can't be told without the recent conflict with the Minbari, without it why build a station at all and which race would contribute to the cost and oversight?; only a few of the non-aligned worlds are actually known to the viewers, but this we, well, we know, and; the end of the story has already been told, how do we deviate from that? Do we toss everything we know about B5 that made it great? Is Ivanova going to be heterosexual (heaven forbid)? Will Garibaldi not be an alcoholic (who would he be?)? Will Franklin not be an addict (another loss to his personal journey)? Will there be no transformation for Delenn (is Sheridan really going to be attracted to a full-on Minbari?)? What about the attachés Na'toth, Vir and Lennier; they were instrumental in the storytelling (and moving it along) and so well played? I'm assuming that the Shadows and the Vorlons will be a staple in the story otherwise, why "reboot" the story at all? What about the telepaths? What about getting surviving cast members to make special guest appearances? Peter Jurassic should be a must to play a Centauri!
Back to the analysis:
So, I have some concerns and these are only the immediate ones. I suppose more could be done with the aliens on the Non-aligned board, telepaths, Vorlons and Shadows. There is definitely room for more storytelling, but we are all so familiar with the main characters and cultures that too much deviation might cause a ruckus with fans. I don't envy your struggle with keeping Canon and reinventing characters. I'm looking forward to see what you do. Best of luck!
A quick aside: Na'Toth rocks! At least Caitlin Brown's version does. She is canny, brilliant, snarky and a physical powerhouse. Her replacement was more of a place-holder and never lived up to Ms. Brown's portrayal of the character. She's my second favorite character.
I suppose that going back to the Dilgar war would be worth exploring, but that's not B5. It would have to have a completely different cast of characters, and that might be a good thing (spin-off!). This could be where we meet the Vorlons for the first time and get Easter eggs about the Shadows. The B5 universe is worth exploring. We might find a different and new race with special powers who manipulate time, space or matter and are in conflict with a sister race that evolved along a different path and they have a different special power, possibly controlling plant life and the elements. Humans get caught in their conflict while trying to get them to help in the Dilgar war, and then try to bring them back together. Blood (alien) has been spilled and trust is gone. The relationships can only be repaired one adventure at a time, through one community at a time. And then, just when things are coming together, they evolve. Just a thought.
Another thought, part of the B5 story arc could involve a Centauri lady who is high-born, fallen on hard times, and has the ability to have visions and interpret them. She doesn't, of course, but she can. She could interweave throughout the story lines helping, hindering or just being too bored, or selfish to manipulate. I like her already. The crew gets taken in by her, doesn't trust her, but then relies on her in times of duress.
More to come on story lines...in the meantime, share yours.

Hi,
I have a Babylon 5 story I would like to add to the apocrypha. Put it up with a short fanfilm (in the description below) at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEo5beJDgK8
Could you please let me know if or how this is possible?
Thanks greatly,
Stanislav Luban
I used a random fandom generator.
The Vorlon page says that Vorlons' true appearance is a tenticle creature. That's not true, and probably comes from the episode where someone had a tentacle creature pretending to be a Vorlon. Since hardly anyone outside of the Vorlon themselves had seen a Vorlon before, they couldn't know the difference.
Vorlon are always beings of light, even when unconscious. See The Pilot episode.
The article needs to be changed if it's to be correct.
The author of the series, does this. The Vorlon hide themselves because they look so 'beautiful' to other species... and, other species would recognize them as their basically 'angels.'
It's implied that The Vorlon visited other species, and probably tampred with their evolution, and were seen as angels, gods, or profits among the other species.
It's unknown if the other species see the Vorlon as an angelic form of their species through telepathic intention, or if it's a 'natural' thing that happens for them.
Anyway, the tentacle thing was a show thing, where a tentacle monster was PRETENDING to be a Vorlon, but was not.
And, the author often does these things in the series, to subvert expectations. People would expect them to hide their 'ugliness' when in fact they're hiding their 'beauty.'
I like this series! What if they made a movie? Star Trek could make an appearance with The Orville. Maybe they can get some horror movie villains to try to take one of the shows, and the now united Space Federation of Terra could defeat them. Here's the flag of the Space Federation of Terra: https://flag-designer.appspot.com/gwtflags/SvgFileService?d=3&c1=7&c2=2&c3=5&o=6&c4=6&s=11&c5=4.
R.I.P Mira Mira Furlan.
We all know the Dr. Stephen Franklin was the chief medical officer for babylon 5 but did he hold a service rank in earthforce.
