Where's what I think about the whole "more B5" thing. B5 was a huge undertaking, a project no one has ever done before that set the standard for later shows. It is a "novel" that differentiates it from the series like Star Gate that must have a cliffhanger episode at the end to continue to get funding. Babylon was a complete story from start to finish and it is told.
There's a metaphor that states that every person can only really tell one story, but in many different ways. The reason behind that is that it is the same person that tells this or other story. I see B5 as a collection of values that shaped the 90's generation and the B5 storyteller could tell that same story to the new generation as B5 is a person worth listening to. Thats why it caught our eye in the 90's.
In terms of formats that were listed in the video, I find the animated series to be the most suitable. The 90's generation that watched the original series and then eagerly awaited the something similar in a form of a few series (The Rangers) or live-action films is not awaiting a new B5 as eagerly as before when the show was popular. But we are still out there. A new live action series or a movie would be missing several key actors from the original B5 universe and thus would either be limited in storytelling (hard to imagine Sheridan without Delenn or Londo without G'Kar :( ) or would have to focus on an obscure or totally new part of the B5 universe. An animated series, with the development of the AI as it is today (that could animate voices from text based on a voice sample as it was done with Morrowind) could explore an area of B5 (presuming consent of relatives) where all original characters are present. Similar to Clone Wars, it could open up a new dimension to the already told story OR tell the same story in a different way. This format will most likely attract the generation of today and would offer the most in terms of flexibility.
In terms of video games the B5 universe will only offer a "flavour" to a well-designed core game and will not be the major selling point unless the new generation knows B5 universe better. Given that many B5 mods existed for several games and none saw full completion (to my knowledge) that train has passed. What could work best for B5 is a quest-like space exploration where, lets say, an Earthforce captain travels through various systems solving diplomatic and military challenges with his ship, say Agamemnon. A well crafted universe (like the good old Morrowind) would make the game stand out from failures (IMHO) like Starfield. Surveying new systems, moving cargo under the nose of smugglers, forming small colonies and supply posts, etc, etc. would work very well in B5 and given the amazing graphical options of today will attract new fans to the franchise.
I cannot comment of the comics as it is not my media, but, I think, a comics can and could be released at any time and about any subject in B5, so it is always an option.
Finally there is one media that is not in the video and, similarly to comics, it is something that could be used at any moment, and that is board games. Exploration and roleplaying, strategy and diplomacy, even first person starfighter experience can be implemented at any moment to the company's desire.
Hopefully this is all going somewhere and in 5-10 years we will have a new B5 animated series playing in the background on our 3D TV stations while we are fighting off raiders at our colony in a new single-player (with multiplayer option) PC game. If not, well, we'll always have the series :).
