The "Liandra" type was a class of Minbari attack ship employed by the Anla'shok.^[1]

In use since at least the Earth-Minbari War, the lines and colors of the this class of vessel are representative of the Shu-Nali sense of design.

The Liandra was designed by Chris Wren. According to Wren, "This ship [the Liandra] was meant to be the last of a now-obsolete fleet of Minbari fighters, ... The reason behind this was that the Rangers had a budget, and didn't always get top of the line equipment." and this was "a class of ship that was meant for fighting, not for comfort."^[2]
