Alwyn Macomber was a human member of the Anla'Shok in the year 3262, one thousand years after the foundation of the Interstellar Alliance. Macomber was one of the many Anla'Shok that had infilitrated Earth in an attempt to help Earth rebuild itself following the Great Burn. Following this event, Earth had been reduced to a pre-industrial state, with much of its population becoming technophobes.
Macomber posed as a monk in the same order as Brother Michael, mantaining contact with his superiors via secret transmissions. Though Michael had a crisis of faith, Macomber considered him a potential recruit for the Rangers.[1]
