During the height of the Senate Investigative Committee hearings into President Morgan Clark's involvement in the conspiracy to assassinate Luis Santiago, Harris announced that the new alien race, detected late last year may pose a significant threat to planetary security. When asked what was being done to counter this threat, he said only that extreme measures may be required.
