Carolyn Sanderson was a rogue Human telepath (a "blip"), who was captured by the Shadows allies within the Psi Corps and turned by the Zener, servants of the Shadows, into a cyborg in order to be used as a living CPU for a Shadow Battlecrab.
Before turning rogue, she was a member of the Psi Corps and the lover of Alfred Bester
