Day of the Dead, subtitled "An Annotated Babylon 5 Script", is the original script for the episode of the same name by Neil Gaiman. It was released in December 1998 by DreamHaven Books and includes annotations by Gaiman about changes made by J. Michael Straczynski during later rewrites of the script, how scenes were filmed, and references for specific items in the script. It also features scenes that were filmed but cut for time, and an introduction by JMS.

Unlike the episode that aired, the draft script has Zooty speaking his own lines without a machine, including several lines that were given to Rebo in the final version.

The annotated script was eventually reprinted in full in Volume 3 of the Babylon 5 Other Voices scriptbook published by b5books.
