Deneb IV is an Earth Alliance colony on the forth planet of the Deneb System. The colony itself is noted as having largest colony market in the area and happens to be home to the daughter of John Demeter, the late Mars Resistance member more commonly known as Captain Jack.[1]
Local Star
Also known as Alpha Cygni, Deneb is located approximately 3000 light years from Sol and is the brightest star in the constellation Cygnus.[2]
Deneb Sector
An area of space still at least partly unexplored by the Earth Alliance as in 2258 Catherine Sakai made a survey run through the Deneb Sector before travelling to Babylon 5 in the Tigris Sector. Apparently one of the planets in this sector contained a substantial amount Quantium 40, providing Sakai with a substantial windfall in her commission.[3]
