The EAS Churchill was an Earthforce ship operational shortly before the Earth-Minbari War.

In 2245 the first officer of the EAS Prometheus under Captain Jankowski was transferred to the Churchill a few weeks before the expedition into Minbari space. The vacant position was first was offered to Commander John Sheridan who turned the posting down in favour of remaining aboard the EAS Lexington. The post was instead filled by Commander Alan Chafin.
