The EAS Clarkstown was an Earthforce Hyperion class heavy cruiser. Despite its captain being close friends with General William Hague since their days in the Academy, the ship remained loyal to President Clark during the Earth Alliance Civil War.

In 2260, the Clarkstown engaged in combat with the EAS Alexander after it had escaped the transfer point off of Io. The Alexander, under the command of the General William Hague, had just failed in the Alexander's attempted coup against President Morgan Clark and his declaration of martial law.

During the battle, the Clarkstown hit the Alexander amidships, killing General Hague. The Alexander first attempted to flee without returning fire, but when the Clarkstown persisted, it opened up with her rear guns, destroying the Clarkstown completely.
