Gyor was an Onteen Mutari and Sho-rin of the Mutai on Babylon 5.

Popular with spectators, they would often chant his name before and after a match. At one point in his career, Gyor fought and defeated Caliban.

In 2258, Gyor was challenged by Walker Smith, a human fighter. Although humans had never been accepted into the Mutai, Gyor and the Muta-Do found the challenge honorable and Gyor accepted. After an exhausting battle, the Muta-Do declared the fight a draw. When the fans began chanting Gyor's name afterwards, Gyor, respecting Smith's courage, started a chant of Smith's name instead. The Mutai was subsequently opened to all humans.[1]
