The Hyach are a humanoid species which were members of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds and then of the Interstellar Alliance.

Physiology and Appearance
The Hyach are slightly smaller than humans and have bald, lumpy heads.
Telepathy
The Hyach have telepaths amongst their people which they feel is quite normal and are allowed to live without restraints.
Government
The Hyach are a geritocracy, ruled by the oldest members of their society and governed by way of the Hyach Grand Council of Elders.[1]
