Janice Drake was the Earth Alliance Ambassador to Babylon 5 following the formation of the Interstellar Alliance.[1]
Notes
- Janice Drake was only every mentioned in "The Official Guide to Babylon 5 (CD ROM)" and has never appeared in any episode or other canon media.
- A possible "real world" reason for her absence could simply be that as the Guide was made between the production of seasons 4 & 5, Drake had been intended to be a new character but the subsequent departure of Claudia Christian necessitated the creation of Captain Lochley's character. At this point a second Earth representative might have seamed redundant and the character could have simply been dropped.
- An "in universe" explanation could be that she was Lochley's liaison to Earthgov who spent most of the time at Earthdome, much in the same way as Senator Hidoshi was Sinclair's go-between with the Senate oversight committee.
