Jared Dawson was a human telepath, rated P12 and member of Psi Corps.
In 2222, Jared was caught having an affair with Alisha Ross, a fellow P12 and the wife of Psi Cop Alfred Bester. He had been involved with Alisha some years prior, before the Corps determined that they weren't as genetically compatible. After being caught out, Alisha told Jared that it was over between them, though it did little to repair her marriage. Some weeks later Alisha found she was pregnant and though Bester was inwardly unsure if he or Jared was the father but didn't care enough to find out one way or the other.[1]
