Jesus Christ was a human religious figure that lived about 2,200 years before the Third Age of Mankind.

Christ was seen as the divine son of God. His teachings would later become the cornerstone of the Christian religion on Earth. Christ would continue to be worshiped by members of the Roman Catholic Church and other Christian religions, and held as a prophet by Islam.

After amassing a large following of people, politically powerful individuals came to see Christ as a threat, and he was executed by the Roman Empire by crucifixion.

On the night before his execution Christ had spent time praying in the Garden of Gethsemane, where he asked the Father for the cup to pass from him - if the execution he knew was about to occur could somehow be avoided, before a force sent by the temple priests came to arrest him.

In 2260 Brother Edward, the mindwiped former Black Rose Killer, reflected on Christ's time in the Garden of Gethsemane. Edward told Delenn and Lennier that Christ did not have to stay in the Garden, that he could have fled and delayed his arrest for a few hours or even a few days, but that he stayed anyways, even though he knew he would soon be tortured and killed. Edward always wondered if he would have had the courage to remain in the Garden himself, something that he found out when the families of his murder victims tortured and crucified him prior to his own death in 2260.[1]
