Juanita Franklin was a member of Earthforce and daughter of General Richard Franklin. Her brother was Dr. Stephen Franklin and had sisters Kathy Franklin, Marie Franklin and Celia Franklin.

In 2259, Franklin was due for a promotion. It was also a time when she was a bit out of touch with her brother. Her father would visit Stephen and inform him.[1]
