Kulan's fighter is a vessel of unknown class.
Ships of this type serve as fighter craft and reconnaissance vessels capable of operating both in the planet's atmosphere and in space. Kulan had many of them under his control, operating them remotely without pilots. One of their functions was to ambush visiting aliens, vivisect them, and collect their organs for study. Several of them chased Captain Gideon on a skimmer through the city, but he was able to out-fly and out-maneuver them. Later, Kulan sent a fleet of the fighters to attack the Excalibur and engage its Starfuries.[1]
