Counselor L'shan was one of the Drakh who led the attack on Earth. His ship was followed by the EAS Persephone after the battle was over. The Persephone was able to disable the Drakh ship, which crashed on Ceti IV, but in the process was destroyed itself.[1]

The crew of the Excalibur detected the Persephone's distress pod, and was able to rescue the Interplanetary Expeditions archeological dig staff from the Drakh threat on the planet, and were able to capture L'shan.

L'shan was then interrogated by the crew of the Excalibur. He was then sent back to Earth for further interrogation and as punishment in case a cure was not discovered in time.
