"The Lurker's Guide is a volunteer effort encompassing documents maintained by many Babylon 5 fans, as well as a lot of original material not found elsewhere. It's not associated in any kind of official way with the show" [1]

The Lurker's Guide was started before the original airing of The Gathering. It is an unofficial guide to the Babylon 5 universe. It collects a lot of information that would otherwise require exhaustive searches or be otherwise unavailable. J. Michael Straczynski has commented that the site has been an "invaluable resource" for him.[2]

It was originally hosted on hyperion.com; the Hyperion class heavy cruiser (EAS Hyperion) is named as a nod to that site. [3]
