Marco Rivera was a member of the doomsday cult, Sacred Omega and a former member of the Mars Resistance.[1]
Before the Mars Conference to find the cure for the Drakh plague started, he killed Leon Henderson. While holding Trace Miller hostage outside a bar on Mars, he was shot and killed by Lieutenant Carr. Rivera had targeted the two men because they could identify Andre Sabot, who was present at the conference.
