Marie Franklin was a member of the Earth Alliance and daughter of General Richard Franklin. Her brother was Dr. Stephen Franklin and sisters Juanita Franklin, Kathy Franklin and Celia Franklin.

In 2259, Franklin was a was a bit out of touch with her brother. Her father would visit Stephen and inform him she was doing well.[1]
