Neeoma

Neeoma Connally was the union representative of Babylon 5's docker's guild.

History

In 2237 her father was shot a killed during the miners strikes on Ganymede. His death would inspire her to spend her life fighting for worker's rights.

Connally worked as the union representative for the Docker's Guild on Babylon 5 in 2258. Severely shorthanded and forced to work with substandard equipment, the workers endured a series of serious accidents, culminating in the death of Albert Delvientos. When the Senate refuses to allocate any more funding, Connally helps organize a "blue flu." When this fails to get results, the Workers stage a full scale, illegal strike. The Senate subsequently sends in an agent, Orin Zento, to squelch the strike by invoking the Rush Act. The plan backfires on him, however, when B5 station commander Jeffrey Sinclair uses the Act's authority to meet Connoly's demands.
