Orion IV is the fourth planet in the Orion System, home to a native race of low-tech sentients and the location of an Earth Alliance colony.[1]

Michael Garibaldi was once stationed at Orion IV and was the last place he saw Walker Smith until he arrived on B5 in 2258. He was later fired from his position due to circumstances related to his alcoholism.[2][3]

  • Yogtree: A type of native tree worm that is often caught and eaten by the indigenous aliens.[1]
  • Orion Root Simian: The natural predator of the Yogtree, it's cry sounds somewhat like a blaring alert klaxon.[1]
  • Slich: A creature native noted for its particularly unattractive back-end.[4]
