Robert Rusler portrayed Warren Keffer in the second season of Babylon 5.
J. Michael Straczynski has said that the character of Keffer was introduced solely because the television network wanted a "hotshot Top Gun kind of pilot" character to attract more viewers, and he never intended for Keffer to survive.
Rusler went on to play another ace pilot in Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom, the following year.
