"The Hour of the Wolf" Edit
All events in "The Hour of the Wolf" take place in 2261, like all episodes in the fourth season (with noted exceptions). Ivanova, Delenn, Lennier and Alexander did not leave for Z'ha'dum until after the episode begins, and thus belongs in 2261. There may be some inconsistency in time-based dialogue between episodes, but the season intro marking the year as 2261 takes precedence above personal calculations that aren't mentioned in any official source. If there seems to be a mistake in how an episode reckons time, it would be better to make a special note about it at the bottom of the 2260 page, the 2261 page, and the "Hour of the Wolf" page. Until an official source declares something true, please treat personal assessments as hypotheses and not fact. -- BlueResistance (talk) 22:21, July 29, 2016
- Please change the entries back to how I made them. It is not a personal assessment but a chronological view of events AS AUTHORISED BY J Michael Straczynski from The Babylon 5 Historical Database published in Across Time and Space: The Chronologies of Babylon 5. This is official as it gets.B5historyman (talk) 01:16, July 30, 2016 (UTC)
- Until you wrote this talk page response, there was nothing to indicate that the information came from an authorized source. Without explicitly citing your sources, you should expect to be challenged. Official non-episode/non-story references need to be cited, too--and please put the references in the articles and not on the talk pages. You should anticipate that anyone who visits an article in the future will want information backed up with references where they can see them immediately.
My apologies, I tend to assume fans are familiar with my work either through the Official magazine or Across Time and Space: The Chronologies of Babylon 5. As for citing that is not a problem, I can put a page note to let visitors know 😀 B5historyman (talk) 08:57, July 31, 2016 (UTC)
