Does this article really have any purpose? Surely these events can be adequately covered in the shadow war article.Blind Wolf 11:46, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Agreed. This wasn't a battle. It was just Londo blowing up the island. -- 69.42.4.216 22:38, October 12, 2011 (UTC)
The article didn't start as one defining a battle. Almost a year after it was created the "battle" template was added. Personally I think the article stands on its own as an article that highlights this *major* event and I would propose eliminating the battle template and let the article be.
After a relatively long absence from editing in-universe articles, I've found that a lot of details have been lost in larger omnibus articles (either in trying to be succinct or because it's information overload). Sure this could be shoved as a footnote into an article about the Shadow War, but why? This article could easily be expanded to include the repercussions of these actions, not only in the immediate (Shadow War) but down the road (Drakh War). Radagast83 08:18, October 13, 2011 (UTC)
Agreed, this event did several things, one, it helped drive out the Shadows as they had no base of operations to retreat too, no place to entrench and dig in. Two, it paved the road of the future of the Centuari people, both positive and negative, ranging from putting Londo Mollari into a position of leadership to the Drakh occupation of the planet. Then of course, there was providing the Drakh a base of operations (eventually), and of course, as Radagast83 has mentioned, the Drakh War itself. One thing I must say though, is the article title itself could use a change, it wasn't so much an attack per se as more of a... rebellion almost. Point being, I suggest a rename to something more like "Destruction of Selini" -- 04:03, October 14, 2011 (UTC) (by: Terran Officer, for some reason my name wont appear in the sig, at least for me)

Renamed[]

I think that the renamed article as well as the additional information I added should take care of the concerns listed above. I'm sure we can probably ditch the infobox, but I'll wait to hear what others think first.

The infobox is used to cover events, so it can stay, albeit needing to be updated to reflect the proper page title and any other information that needs adjustment. --Terran Officer 05:14, January 14, 2012 (UTC)
