Earth Central

I think I've cracked the Earthgov/Earth Central connection. In "Matters of Honor", right near the end there's a shot of Earthdome and the onscreen text:-

            Earthdome
Earth Alliance Central Government
       Geneva, Switzerland

So it looks like "Earth Central" is just a slightly more formal contraction of "Earth Alliance Central Government" than "Earthgov", which is why it appears on data screens. Blind Wolf 17:21, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
