I've been flicking through Dark Genesis and The Chronologies of Babylon 5 and I'm a little confused as the the exact sequence of events. A part of the problem is that the onscreen date for the founding of Psi Corps is 2261, though Crawford's appointment and subsequent death appears to take place in 2156. So would this mean that it took 5 years to pass the legislation from Psi Corp or would all the "2156" events from the book (including Crawford's death) be moved forward to 2161, which would mean that it was 5 years before a permanent Centauri ambassador was assigned on Earth? :I wonder if this is an example of retroactively updating the dates when the Psi Corps books were released - or if it was a slip-up. Should on-screen information take precedence, or since the novels came out later and give greater detail of the Psi Corps - that that date should be used. We can mention the discrepancy at the bottom of the page with a "continuity" blurb. Radagast83 07:15, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Death/Psi Corp founding chronology

I've been flicking through Dark Genesis and The Chronologies of Babylon 5 and I'm a little confused as the the exact sequence of events. A part of the problem is that the onscreen date for the founding of Psi Corps is 2261, though Crawford's appointment and subsequent death appears to take place in 2156. So would this mean that it took 5 years to pass the legislation from Psi Corp or would all the "2156" events from the book (including Crawford's death) be moved forward to 2161, which would mean that it was 5 years before a permanent Centauri ambassador was assigned on Earth? I wonder if this is an example of retroactively updating the dates when the Psi Corps books were released - or if it was a slip-up. Should on-screen information take precedence, or since the novels came out later and give greater detail of the Psi Corps - that that date should be used.
