Juphar Trkider[]

Just having a look at the official guide CD ROM and it names the Drazi Ambassador as "Juphar Trkider". A quick google shows that this name was also used for the Drazi Ambassador action figure, so it appears to be an accepted "official" name around the late Season 4/early Season 5 period when the CD & figure were issued.

The problem is, which Drazi Ambassador is this? We know Kim Strauss played Vizak in Dust to Dust as well as a Drazi Ambassador in several season 5 episodes, though Ron Campbell played one several times in season 4 and once in season 5. So did Strauss always play Vizak, or was he sometimes playing Trkider too?

Given the timing of the releases and who was playing around that time, I think Campbell is the best candidate for whom they intended Trkider to be. Still, I think it's best to seek a consensus before making the assumption. Thoughts?Blind Wolf 07:49, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

Good call. I'd lean towards Campbell as Trkider. I'd assume that unless the intention was for the ambassadors to be the same and they were just unable to get a particular actor and used whoever they could find, I'd like to assume that they are indeed different characters. It's made slightly more complicated by the fact that just two or three actors seam to have played most of the prominent Drazi over the years, it gets hard to tell them apart (choice of coloured scarf notwithstanding), but yeah, given that when the CD material was written, Strauss was already established as Vizak and at the time, Campbell had, for whatever reason, stepped in to play "The Drazi Ambassador" it makes a reasonable amount of sense that they decided to distinguish between the two. Point of interest; assuming we're correct it's Trkider's wife that Londo was talking about in "Meditations on the Abyss". ;) Blind Wolf 23:53, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
