A transfer point is usually a space station, used to unload and reload cargo between ships in space, sometimes located a major in-system transit hubs and usually adjacent to the local jumpgate.
Known Transfer points[]
- Io: Station Io serves as the Sol System's main transfer point, near the system's jumpgate, off Io.[1]
- Proxima III: The Proxima system's transfer point is a station just off Proxima III.[2]
- Sector 90: An old buddy of Michael Garibaldi ran a transfer station in Sector 90, right by the local jumpgate. In 2259 Garibaldi arranged for the Narn Resistance to use the point to smuggle weapons, food and equipment in and out of Narn space, free of charge.[3]
