The Tzillari were an alien species from the fringe of Interstellar Alliance space who served The Hand. Kafta was a member of this species.[1]
According to David Martell, the Tzillari only recently (about 2265) joined Interstellar Alliance and the Hand Servitor Vessels have not attacked Tzillari ships.
