An unnamed villager of Dureena Nafeel's race belonged to an unknown colony on Theta 49.[1]
She was decended from slaves who had been been taken as labor on the ship Qal’Thaa generations earlier. The ship was attacked by Shadows, and the surviving escape pods began the colony.
Dureena Nafeel had previously believed that she was the last member of her race. Unfortunately because the recently arrived Humans were infected with the Drakh plague, the rest of her people were also infected.
Sarah Chambers discovered that the colony only had one year before the plague would kill them.
Dureena unfortunately had to inform her and the colony that Zander Prime had been destroyed and that they were the last of their race.
