The Vorlon Dreadnoughts are warships similar to the Vorlon Heavy Cruisers, but slightly larger and with more "tentacles". Until the arrival of the planet killer, they were the most powerful vessels in the Vorlon fleet.
Overview[]
The Vorlon Dreadnought was until the Shadow War, the most powerful vessel active in the known galaxy. It was among the most potent weapons of war in the Vorlon arsenal. It's primary weapon is its discharge cannon, but it is capable of growing new weapons pods if needed. They lack the sensor-petals of the transports, therefore a star dreadnought is normally accompanied by several smaller escorts and scouts. Which located the enemy for it to destroy. The ship is capable of operating without a crew but up to a hundred Vorlon can either incarnate themselves within the dreadnought's core or they can board the ship as independent entities. These ships are grown in orbital nutrient tanks until they mature, after which they are cybernetically augmented.
Additional Characteristics[]
The specifications of the Vorlon Dreadnought varies when it comes to the non-canon roleplaying sources. The specifications in the infobox are from the Babylon 5 the Roleplaying Game's sourcebook Darkness and Light. The following is from the Babylon 5 Wars's sourcebooks:
